The question was asked in class today how far have we gone to understanding the beginning of the universe. I offer this link for you to study since this is Elementary Particle Physics and not my area of expertise. The answer is 10 to the -32 power seconds from T=0. I think I may have put on the board, 10 to the -23 power seconds from T=0. My bad!
